Excuses, Excuses... And Our First Giveaway!!!

I think that I need to accept that I am a procrastinator. Maybe that will help me out a bit - not just with the blog, but in life in general. I MEANT to post last week, but I was busy with Thanksgiving preparations and such. Then I got sick. I'm still sick, but improving. Then I remembered that I wanted to post a technique tutorial next, so since that isn't ready, I put it off again, and I almost put this off once again today, but I told a friend to keep an eye on my blog, and I felt convicted... cause what if he was checking my blog once a week or more often, and I wasn't posting anything? That wouldn't be cool. So, here I am, taking a break from my Christmas decorating, just to tell you guys that I am a procrastinator.... AAAAND that I am giving away a cake!

Yep! I have been in a particularly thankful and giving mood lately, and I just wanted to show my local customers how truly thankful for your business that I am by giving away a free cake to some lucky someone sometime during this month! This will be a home made from scratch delicious cake made by me, for the December date of your choosing, EXCEPT for Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Years Eve. The cake will be 9" square or round, 3 layer, filled and frosted, with simple decoration (please read that as "no fondant or extensive designs"). Local pickup or delivery only, so if you are a ways away, keep in mind that you will need to meet me in Conyers or Covington to get your cake. There are so many yummy flavor combinations to choose from that it would be ridiculous to list them all, so I will work out those details with the winner.

So, here's what you need to do to enter:

1. If you haven't already, like Kelly's Cakes on Facebook here.

2. Share the link to this blog on YOUR Facebook page.

3. Leave me a comment below letting me know that you did the first two things.

And that's it! The contest will end at midnight on Friday, December 9, 2011, and I will announce a randomly selected winner on Saturday, December 10, 2011. Have fun! I can't wait to make a cake for you!
